American Express offers a wonderful travel rewards package in its Gold Delta Skymiles Credit Card. You receive 10,000 bonus Skymiles with your first purchase. On Delta purchases at supermarkets, gas stations, drugstores, etc., you receive DOUBLE MILES and then one Skymile for every other dollar you charge. The Continental Airlines Platinum card from Chase has a similar rewards offer, with bonus miles when you become a cardmember, unlimited OnePass miles and double miles on purchases from your favorite select merchants.
